For: our videographer · From: Khai, MixWork

This is the production brief for the MixWork Academy Remote Professional Certification shoot. It covers what we are making, the schedule, the set, the technical spec we are proposing, and what we need delivered. Nothing here is fixed against your judgement — if you would shoot it differently, say so before the shoot day.

1 · The project at a glance

MixWork is producing the MixWork Academy Remote Professional Certification — a mandatory internal course that every new MixWork Indonesia joiner completes in their first two weeks. Eight modules, one video each, with a quiz after every module.

This is not a campaign film. It is a credential that stays in service for 24 months and is watched by every person we hire. It needs to look consistent, clean and calm, and every module has to match every other module.

Field Detail
Deliverable 8 videos, approx. 7 minutes each · approx. 56 minutes total
Format Live-action, single presenter to camera. Semi-podcast — clean, simple, no theatrics
Presenter Chesa — a working reporter. Experienced on camera, delivering from teleprompter
Language English
Tone Warm, direct, professional. Explaining, not lecturing
Audience New MixWork Indonesia employees, day 1–14. Watching on a laptop, often with headphones
Shoot Sat 19 Sep 2026 · Sun 20 Sep 2026 held in reserve
Final delivery by Fri 10 Oct 2026 (Already edited by MixWork)
Usage Internal employee training only. Not a public or commercial campaign

<aside> ⚠️

The single biggest risk on this job is inconsistency between modules. A learner watches all eight in sequence. If module 4 is a stop warmer or a hair tighter than module 3, they will feel it. Lock the lighting, framing, white balance and audio chain before the first take and do not adjust them between modules — only between setups we have agreed.

2 · What we are shooting

Eight modules, all the same shape: Chesa to camera, straight through, teleprompter. No presenter movement, no location changes, no interviews.

# Module Approx. runtime Notes for camera
1 The MixWork Standard 7 min Opening module — the one learners judge the whole course by. Shoot it after the warm-up, not first
2 High Professionalism 7 min Standard coverage
3 No One Wins Alone 7 min Standard coverage
4 Personal Discipline 7 min Standard coverage
5 Always Learning 7 min Standard coverage
6 Presence and Presentation 7 min This module teaches camera, light, audio and dress. It has to be the best-looking module in the set — the frame is part of the argument
7 Your Home Is Your Office 7 min Likely to need supporting shots of a workspace. See §9
8 Conduct and Review 7 min Serious subject matter. Slightly less warmth in the grade is acceptable, but do not change the lighting

4 · The set

Simple and neutral. A clean professional workspace look, shot against greenscreen so backgrounds can be set per module and refreshed across the 24-month life of the course without a reshoot.
